A mountain biker, trail runner, avid hiker, and yoga practitioner, and a wilderness first-aid certified guide from Nepal.

I'm a university graduate in Social Work who once aspired to work in NGOs but has now followed a different career path. I started working professionally as a guide in 2022. I also used to be a dedicated athlete while studying at the university.

Many things didn't go as expected. Life had many different chapter to offer.

Responsible tourism

While tourism is an essential part of the economy, it is essential that the industry is responsible and sustainable to ensure Nepal's cultural richness and ecological diversity is preserved for future generations.

PROMOTING WOMEN IN ADVENTURE

Historically, the adventure field has generally been male-dominated but, the landscape is gradually changing. Promotion for and advocacy of women in this field is not only about inclusivity. It is about bringing all skills and perspectives to the table and making it the best it can possibly be.

Sustainable development is a process that should involve all members in society and the entrepreneurial women of Nepal are a key ingredient to this. Their participation not only creates a more equitable society, their unique ideas and leadership can benefit everyone and should be supported and encouraged to thrive.
